Marquee Event at Millennium Square Bristol

#throwbackthursday is taking a look back to October 2018 to ‘the world’s leading international festival celebrating the natural world’ – Wildscreen Festival.

We worked with Alastair Currie Events for this fantastic event which took place in Millennium Square, Bristol. Taking on a total of a week build, 7 day event and 4-day dismantle; we installed a marquee for the main festival hub allowing space for networking and socialising. This structure had a clear roof reception entrance allowing lots of natural light into the space.

Along with the festival hub we created a space which was entered through a covered walkway for a state of the art cinema showing films as well as some top industry talks!

One of the most exciting parts of this build for CMC was the use of solid sides. A first time for us and something we were very excited to install! They gave the marquee a clean, crisp finish and the glazed panels really helped to let the light into the bustling Wildscreen Festival hub. With the event being in October and not knowing exactly what the weather would bring, the sides also helped to keep the autumnal chill away along with the added security aspect when compared to your standard PVC wall.

Having now installed these sides we very much look forward to using them more frequently, adding the sophisticated finish to many more marquees.

All in all, a great event in the heart of Bristol’s City Centre. If you are interested in holding an event in this space get in touch with the CMC team now for more information!
