We love working in our home city, and what better location for a set up than pride of place on the Durdham Downs!

We put together a suite of marquees to aid in the smooth running of the University of Bristol Welcome Fair. The key event for new students during their fresher’s week saw 15,000 visitors pass through, kick starting their University year.

The bespoke structures allowed for coverage from the elements for the stands and students alike. With stands for student groups and societies, as well as select commercial stands, there was plenty of room for milling about, finding friends and opportunities to get involved with.

The grouping of marquees, around 4500 square metres of tent, was spread across 20 structures of varying sizes to suit the different needs within each tent. From the student and commercials stands, to first aid, security and staging.

We worked alongside our friends at SLX who were instrumental in the management of the 2 day event. During the 4 day set up and 2 day dismantle we worked in a secure fenced off portion of the Downs.
